In addition to the standards of a home inspection, Danth Corporation Home Inspections offers Thermal Imaging scanning technology as an option.
Danth Corporation Home Inspections utilizes the latest in thermal imaging scanning from FLIR with MSX Technology.
What is MSX Technology?
MSX adds key details from the onboard visible light camera to the entire infrared image in real time. This results in an all-in-one thermal picture with numbers, labels and other structural features intact so we can easily identify where the issues are inside or outside of your home.
MSX is to thermal imaging as High Definition is to television. The pictures from the Thermal Imaging Camera are very clear compared to regular thermal images giving us a better opportunity to diagnose potential problems.
Thermal Imaging allows us to uncover hidden conditions that would otherwise not be detected by the naked eye.
Thermal imaging allows us to uncover possible problems such as:
- Moisture Problems: Thermal Images will show us potential wet areas behind walls without having to remove or damage walls.
- Energy Loss Problems: Thermal Images helps to identify poorly installed or absent insulation. Thermal Imaging also detects air leaks from door or window frames.
- Electrical Overheating Problems: Thermal Imaging will show overheated conductor or circuit breakers in the electrical panel, a potential fire hazard.
